- How can MedData Services PAP assist me in accessing and/processing claims for prescription assistance programs for low-income patients?
Most of the major pharmaceutical manufacturers have programs in place to provide free branded medications to low income individuals who meet the company’s program guidelines. However, each of these companies has their own specific eligibility requirements. Understanding these requirements and guidelines can be quite confusing.
MedData Services PAP can ease the administrative burden by doing the following:
• Providing instructions for all of the approximately 160 programs and over 1500 products listed in our database.
• The available forms have been digitalized in the database for your review, printing, and/or automatic completion.
• Storage of required physician and patient information in our database can be retrieved and used for automatic completion of the available applications. This eliminates the time required to manually fill out the applications and increases the accuracy of the application process.
• Applications are printed locally for patient and physician signatures and ready for submission to the manufacturer for enrollment in the program.
• Available reports will keep track of the application submissions, and prompts the user when re-application/renewals are required.
